Dolch Word Lists
Parents,
The following dolch word lists are for your children to review and practice. They are high frequency words that first graders need to learn to help them with their reading. It would be great for them to practice every night, but I know sometimes that can be a lot. If they can practice reading these words at home at least once a week that would be a big help in their reading skills! I have included list one which students are supposed to know by November in first grade and list two which students are supposed to know by the end of first grade. I have provided a list that the parent can look at as the children read, and flash cards the children can look at and practice with. You may download these so you can print them off and work with your child. I know some students can read most if not all of list one and two, so I am working to get list three and four up here also. The more words they know the better! Thank you for your time. I hope these are helpful.
